Brouay

This as the front line from the second to third week in June 1944. This was also the junction between Canadian and British troops trying to encircle Caen. The Cemetery is alongside the village church on slightly higher ground. Planted in the cemetery are apple trees. A very peaceful spot and it really feels like an English country churchyard. There are 337 Burials here including 2 Canadians.
