Tilly sur Seulls

Tilly sur Seulls was involved in heavy fighting for many days after the landings, not falling until the 18th of June. The casualties in this Cemetery come mainly from the British Armoured Divisions the 49th, 5th and 7th. The fighting in this area continued for another month. There are 1222 graves here 986 British, 2 New Zealanders, 1 Canadian and 232 Germans
